Hello,

My client calls me up today and tells me they're seeing "Service Unavailable" on their site. I checked, and he's right. What can I do to avoid seeing this unfortunate message, and rather a custom page with a more reassuring message?

Also, I thought I'ld just restart the site and try to resolve it, however, I am getting:

- "Forbidden access to /" on the :8443 port

- "Service Unavailable" on port :4643

What does this mean, and what should I do?

thanks,
Thomas

Why it happens?
What does it mean?
Rebooting VPS will solve it?

Charles,
I'm new to VPS, so I though I may learn something by asking about why it happening
and No I don't have any problem with my linux VPS
its stable more than my x-dedicated box in some other datacenter.
keep up the good work

Yes, the Service Unavailable is still up. This is a serious problem.

Also, can you please give me any tips on how to overcome/avoid this and how to detect this?
