ClientExec 2.7 beta1

There was an announcement yesterday stating the public release of 2.7 beta1 would be available within 24 hours. Can you make this available to us in the knowledge base as usual?

Can you believe how often they release updates... I hate that company, they need some sort of 'auto-update' so we don't have to manually backup, and update. :mad:

We'll be going to ModernBill soon, with licenses from resellers for around $10 its more than worth it, even PowerVPS moved away from clientexec... so it must be better :)

I just checked our download area and there is no download for 2.7 available. The only ones listed are the 2.6 ones we have already posted.

I'll check again in the next day or so to see if it's been posted yet.

yeah... so much updates... And when we have to translate every time new sentences and new stuff, it's becoming too much to handle... :)
And then after all the trouble, you get a stupid bug ... you becoming very tired of CE ...
The day after, you find a reseller selling for 12$ a "50 customers limited MB license".
You always wanted MB but haven't the money to pay the price shown MB website...

You buy it... you use it... and you fall in love with it ;)
It's so damn hot!

The week after... you see on the mb forums that they now sell licenses for 8$... or 14$ for unlimited... and they cannot give it to customers that already bought the 12$ license...
You believe that when you will have two minutes, you will just go to another mb license provider and get their 8$ license... but there's no stress for it... :)

I agree, I love they update so often, however, they need an autoupdate. They just finally started doing the "incremental" upgrades (so you don't have to overwrite custom files). Hopefully this will help a bit.

I'll let you know when it's available for download, Robert. Seems they are off their deadline....again. It should be very soon though.

We're going to be moving to MB soon, we've seen mblicenses and they do it farily cheap, do you know any cheaper for unlimited?

Could you outline the main feartures which are unique to, or much better than clientexec?

I see CE 2.7 stable is out. Has anyone upgraded yet? Is it difficult / problematic?
