I understand that we have to pay for requesting a support as specified in http://forums.deftechgroup.com/register.php?a=act&u=146&i=76414410

My question:
Can we do all things listed on the support page by ourselves from ssh or control panel? Are we given any permission to do that? In other words, is support the only way to do all those things?

Hi There,

If you're speaking of the VPS solutions, you have full root access to your VPS; so you can go ahead and do anything you want.

The reason we have to charge for 3rd party apps, etc., is because if we didn't, we'd be spending all our time doing that and real support request would get buried. We are however, more than happy to render assistance if you get stuck. =)

You link takes you to the forums registration page.

You get full ssh as Tony said, but all the security stuff is already done on your VPS before we release it to you.
