N00B! Email Setup?

Hello,

I thought I could setup the email on my new server...but it turned out to be a pain.

Can someone post a simple HOW TO for Sendmail and Dovecot (IMAP)? I am a single domain (for now) owner.

If you're on a VPS account, you should already have a mail server installed and setup.

Or do you want to install a mail server on a dedidcated / colo server?

I haven't received a response for the longest (kind of disappointing) but luckily I found a number of useful tutorials here that ultimately helped me setup Dovecot for IMAP and Sendmail without the annoying relaying problem:
