Dear BETA Tester
Today SWSoft released Candidate Release 3 (CR3) of virtuosso for windows. This release includes number of improvements behind the scenes, and visible to you:
* Plesk 7.5.1 application template - meaning we can install it for you easily and share memory use for major components.
* Supports backup/restore via the power panel (your VPS must be stopped during a backup)
* Printing and disks mapping from VPS via RDP - You can get access to local disks and printers while connecting to a VPS via RDP.
But (yes there is a but), we cannot upgrade to this release, but have to start from scratch. This means we will need to delete your VPS and rebuild new ones once the server is rebuilt.
So, please BACKUP any data you wish to save by Sunday the 10th of April.
If you would like to continue beta testing, I need to hear from you by Sunday the 10th of April so we can preserve you current IPs. If we not not hear from you, we will not rebuild your VPS. When you reply, please indicate whether you want plesk 7.5.1 installed on your clean VPS build
On Monday the 11th of April, we will be formatting the server and doing a clean OS install and install virtuosso CR3.
After that we will be able to recreate your VPS and install plesk for you if needed. This may take a few days to do, so please be patient with us.
Thanks for your cooperation through this, and we hope this will be a significant step forward in the beta process (despite a small step back at first).
