Let the burst.net folks know that if they need any help from us, or need us to put in a good word at SWSoft, to just send an email to support.

It does not currently meet our own internal requirments for being called stable enough to charge for it and be held accountable. There are two issues that are currently stopping us from going live with this.
1. No remote backups. We can do VPS backups today to the same server, but this is not acceptable. We expect this to be supported, by the time SWSoft makes a final release.
2. We still get an occasional problem that stops us from rebooting a VPS and the only way to resolve this is to reboot the phsical hostign server. This happens less freqently now, but is still unacceptable.
I cannot tell you when these will be met, but we hope soon.

It's gotten a lot better. We are hoping this will be the month we'll prove it's stable. We are going to want to rebuild one of the windows servers, so we'll eb asking current testers to let us know who minds getting a fresh start - we only have so much room for them on the other server.

I have been waiting for your launch as I do want to sign up for a Windows VPS account. Do you have any idea when you will go "live"?
Thanks and regards,
Francis

More due to internal time constraints than problems with the windows VPS, we do not anitcipate going live until November 1st at this point.
The windows VPS servers have been pretty satble this month, but we haave still seen a few lockups. We would like to rebuild one of them from scratch as we think some of the issues have been related to running VPS built with older releases of the software, but to so this will take some work and will disrupt some of the beta customers. We hope to get to this in the next week or two, and have the full month of October to get a feel for stability.

Hey this all sounds good with the Windows VPSs, when they are stable and you begin offering them, I might have to try it out. I have several clients that want windows solutions.

Ive been looking around for a VPS so I think ill hold off until yours is lauched.
Are the packages going to be similar to the linux ones in spec and price?
I signed up to webfusions 30 days free VPS to try it out, its been 4 days. Still not setup and all my emails have gone un-answered.

We are running behind on making an announcement with plans and pricing, but we'll be launching our windows vps next month. Plans will be similar to linux except a little less disk space and will cost more.
