Has anyone done it, and have any suggestions?

There is a thread around here of someone trying it out, try searching through the forum here.

Several people on our network have done it, but if you decide to go ahead with this, remember that we don't support this service, so you're entirely on your own with httpd after you make the change.

I know of some people who run both Apache and Light all at once, so you could perhaps switch your sites to and fro between the new and old httpds depending on your requirements.

I don't think Plesk would be the best for running lighty, though you may be able to LSWS to run as it supports the Apache configuration 100%.

http://litespeedtech.com/ = LSWS

I have LSWS running alongside my Apache w/ cPanel, works perfectly. I also installed mod_proxy which is very simple. I may be posting a howto in the near future.

Please do, elix :) .

I use DA but your howto will benefit many people I would think.
