Hi everyone,

As title, do you think I can do it with the Virtuozzo's power panel?
It seems to be a snapshot backup / restore only.

When somethings goes wrong but you won't want to replace the server with an old copy, that really helps.

e.g. you have mail server and mysql in the same server. When the mysql server database crashed, your mail server still receiving new e-mails. You won't want to replace the whole server (with the old e-mails).

In this case, can I just restore the mysql database files but keep anything else unchanged?

PowerVPS can do this for you. Open a ticket and they'll help you out.

Oh this is cool, thanks!

How about automatic scheduled backup, do you know if there is any ways to do this in a Virtuozzo VPS?

Hi there,

The PowerPanel only creates an entire snapshot of your VPS. I would suggest if using a control panel like CPanel that you enable the backup feature within it to keep individual account backups. That way you have an easy way of restoring files/accounts as needed.

If all else fails, drop us a note and we can try to restore it from our backups. :)
