Can cPanel and plesk coexist peacefully?

Hi,

I am new to powervps. I have the cPanel plan.

When I login to the powerpanel, I notice there is an option to install plesk.

If I do that, will cPanel continue to work correctly? In other words will cPanel and plesk not step on each others' toes and continue to work correctly?

DONT do this! :)

It won't work for many reasons, the main ones being you wont have a license and they won't coexist. You cpanel install will be horribly broken if you try it.

Thanks for your reply. Perhaps you may want to consider disabling the "Plesk install" menu from those who shouldnt or cant do it.

It might save you some support headaches.... :>

Yes, I guess we should (although I don't think we have had anyone do this). We did have to remove the "Reinstall" item for this reason though :)
