OS Updates?

Hi,

Is it necessary (or safe) to update the os (in this case, fedora core 2) on a regular basis?
I notice yum is installed, but I'm unsure about using it with Plesk installed, as plesk provides updates too...

One of the Knowledgebase articles mentioned using apt-get, but this isn't currently installed on my vps.

Yes, its both recommended and safe to use yum to udate your VPS. I'll get the KB article updated, as we have standardized on yum now (although we do have an apt respository as well).
