Any sneak peak about what type of price points you are going to be offering for Windows VPS? Certainly by now you have determined about how many VPS you can put on one box. :D

I am very interested in Windows VPS.

Not yet, but we are getting close. I feel for customers that are actually paying other providers for this. I'd feel horrible if we took a customers money and put them through the issues the beta software has had, locked nodes, reboots, etc.

That being said, I think we are REALLY close to getting stable code. The other factor is off-node backups, which the current RC release does not support.

I would expect it to come in slightly higher then the linux offerings, for a number of reasons, one being the MSFT licenses alone for the host OS and then the SALs and TS licenses required, to do it legal anyhow.

I hope you will consider cheaper non-Plesk vs Plesk packages as well. From what I see Plesk adds apache, an additional MySQL server (so there 2 - if I'm not mistaken :) ), MSSQL etc that consumes a lot of memory.

You could even perhaps put Plesk and non-Plesk servers separately so that theoretically you can pack in another 2 or 3 vps on the non-Plesk host. I'm not sure about the effects of templates that Charles has touched on though.

I might consider a windows VDS that doesnt include plesk. I would be half tempted to write my own plesk-like service for it. Something that would manage the dns etc... and allow you to easily create new domains and set limits and manage mail.
