Hi,
I've just setup my VPS, but the name server setup is still pending.
I wanted to set up database and webapplication anyway, so I created the sql server database via plesk, uploaded the files, and then I wanted to connect to the database with SQL Enterprise Manager to setup the database structure.
I tried connecting by ip address to the server (tried both ip addresses), but without luck.
Do I have to enable my ip somewhere in order to connect, is there a special port I should use, or is it just not possible before the name servers are setup correctly?
I tried setting up the user account as sysadmin as described in another thread here, but that didn't help either.
