Does anyone know if its possible to customize clientexec to add addtional pricing options for dedicated IPs, extra bandwidth, etc? I know you can add custom fields to packages, but that's about it. There's no way to link to pricing, to include/exclude based on specific packages, etc. This makes client exec kind of lame for anything but very basic signups. That fact that their code is obfuscated is helpful also.
Any other recommended solutions? There's modern bill. Anything better?
I didn't find any info on the net so any gurus please sound off
thx
I have not seen this anywhere...wish it did support this and a few other critical things, like discount codes, credit to account, etc.
Does the very basic things very very well, just missing a few critical things.

I didn't use software because of this very reason, no support for extra stuff. I know ModernBill has a lot of features (bloatware) but I hate it's cart. I know with ModernBill you can modify the code, I bet it's similar with ClientExec.
I made my own system, after three months of developing, I think it's working out pretty well. It's fairly automated for domain purchases and account setup (I just press the activate button after doing some background checks), not for SSL purchases unfourtunately. Some automation for payment processing (looks automated from the customers side) but I have to do some things ModernBill would do for me, in the future I might learn how to create code to do that. Anyway, for a small company, it suits me fine and when I get bigger, I'm sure it'll still be pretty good, up until I get someone to help me out with either it or create something new for ModernBill API.

Here are a few links to the better ClientExec vs. {whoever} threads. Bottom line seems... CE is solid, basic software for a good price but if you want flexibility then you pay more.
