Have you looked at providing Cold Fusion with the Windows VPS?
During the Beta, did anyone try running Tomcat on their VPS session?
Thanks!

Do you mean providing the software for free, providing support for it, or are you asking if windows vpses are compatible with ColdFusion?

Im guessing he means the first two, if not, I would be very interested to know that, along with MS SQL feature for Windows VPS and also any news on Helm?

There are no plans for ColdFusion at this time. It's licensing is VERY expensive and it's resource requirements would put it out of line for most VPS type solutions.
Regarding MSSQL, we had a beta test going for offering dedicated MSSQL DBs earlier, but it did not work out quite like we've hoped. We still have plans for this, but at the moment, it's shelved.
Helm is also on hold for now due to other issues.

I have been giving a lot of thought to whether step up and get a windows server or stick with what I have.
The team I work with all want Windows because most of our development is on the windows side. Cold Fusion is our primary development tool at the moment.
I have been checking around and it appears that Ignite Fusion (http://www.ignitefusion.com/) and Blue Dragon (http://www.newatlanta.com/products/bluedragon/product_info/overview.cfm) are superior alternatives. Ignite fusion can run on Apache too so that is super tempting!
If anyone has any experience with these engines, it would be great to hear.
thanks!

Why work with alternatives when you can have the real thing? :) They're never going to be as good based from experience. Get a real Windows server, one with MS SQL database and ColdFusion. That's what I did in the end, and it would have been a much better investment than to try the various alternatives.

BlueDragon and IngiteFusion will run on windows. There are 2 key reasons why we are looking at these two options.
1. Much more lightweight than ColdFusion (engine in particular)
2. Much less expensive
We would also like to note that these alternatives take a lot less disk space.
I can only assume you did not look at the two options I had mentioned.
Investment is all in the eyes of the beholder.
