I new this week with a brand new VPS CPANEL setup at powerVPS. I'm coming from a shared IP resseller environment and have the following questions:
1) I imported my main reseller account that was created at my previous hosting company and I had a free 5GB disk space Bronze package. Now when I access my cpanel within the new VPS on my main reseller account I get 4.6 GB remaining disk space in the left colunm.
Now I got thinking that I only have left another 5GB to resell ? But I think this is not right to think this way with the VPS ? Do I need to trim this package setting down to a reasonable setting like 500 Mb to save on system disk space ?
2) How does traffic allotements work on the VPS ? Previously on my shared service when I sold a client a 2GB of monthly traffic, the Web Host Manager reduced my available remaining bandwith. So with a 50 GB reseller account I could only sell 50gb/2gb or 25 accounts and after that I would have to buy more bandwith even though the client would never use it.
On VPS how does this work ?
Your help is greatly appreciated here!
Thanks
Steve
