Change Host Name

I want to change my host name from the standard host.mydomain.com to cpanel1.mydomain.com. Getting ready for cpanel2 :D

I see options to do that under WHM and under the Power Panel. Do I do both?

Any issues in doing that? Anything else I need to do.

Chris, you should be able to change it in whm, and after a reboot it will show in the power panel. If you really don't want to reboot, support can change it for you on the fly.

You can change it at the "change hostname" option in WHM. Be sure to add an A entry for the domain zone in order to get the hostname working.
