Which FTP server would you setup on a VPS (fedora 2) with cPanel DNS only? PureFTPd ?

It boils down to your needs and preference. vsftpd is considered very secure (and thats a good thing). Proftpd is another good choice as well.

Personally I say don't run an ftpd :)
