Hello,

We use SpamAssassin now, and our immediate need is to redirect SA-identified spam to a separate mailbox(es), so we can avoid downloading to PDAs, etc.

Now, we have to split out the ****SPAM*** messages on the client side.

Unfortunately Plesk does not have a method to filter those messages to a specific folder. You can however tell Plesk to automatically delete all messages filtered as spam if you trust SA's judgement as to what is spam or not.

Domains > DOMAIN.COM > Mail > EMAIL ACCOUNT > Spam Filter > Delete spam mail when it comes to mailbox

I did some checking on SWSoft's forums and many folks are asking about this same thing without any real solution. There was some folks using procmail before, but this broke after SWSoft updated the mail server a version or so back.

I've dropped feature request to SWSoft regarding this. Now obviously we can't do much to guarantee if they'll do anything with it or not, but it's the "official" way of making sure they know what we're wanting. :)

Hope that helps.

Hey Robert,

Thanks for clarifying the situation with SpamAssassin redirect options, or lack thereof. Scanning various tech forums turns up a confusing array of opinions about what is possible and what is not. Maybe has to do somewhat with specific environment?

Our web designer at IWS in Poland thinks he has a workaround. We'll keep you posted, if we have any success.

ALSO, do you recommend installing the plugin for image messages?
