Hi There
I just got started yesterday with plesk powervps and set up the following nameservers at my registrar
ns1.goldhostinggroup.net
ns2.goldhostinggroup.net
I also added these nameservers to the domain goldhostinggroup.net at the registrar.
This morning I checked the whois for the domain and everything seems to be pointing to the correct nameservers
But.......
When I try to access the domain goldhostinggroup.net it is not found. I did a dns report at dnsstuff.com ( http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=goldhostinggroup.net ) and there are errors all over the place that I do not understand :(.
Can someone help me here or point me in the right direction please?

Here's what I can see in plesk > domains > goldhostinggroup.net
205.234.96.151 / 24 PTR goldhostingroup.net.
ftp.goldhostingroup.net. CNAME goldhostingroup.net.
goldhostingroup.net. NS ns1.goldhostingroup.net.
goldhostingroup.net. NS ns2.goldhostingroup.net.
goldhostingroup.net. A 205.234.96.151
goldhostingroup.net. MX (10) mail.goldhostingroup.net.
goldhostingroup.net. TXT "v=spf1 a mx ptr"
mail.goldhostingroup.net. A 205.234.96.151
webmail.goldhostingroup.net. A 205.234.96.151
www.goldhostingroup.net. CNAME goldhostingroup.net.
10 DNS records total
Is there something else I should be doing?

Just two commments
First, seems that the nameservers are not registered yet
http://reports.internic.net/cgi/whois?whois_nic=ns1.goldhostingroup.net&type=nameserver
if you registered the nameserver at your registrar, maybe you have to wait some time.
On the other hand, it's not a good idea to point your namesrvers to themselves ... in dnsstuff it's a lot of info regarding a good dns management

did you create dns entries on your plesk server for the ns1 and ns2?

There are a couple of things that need to be done.
a) Register ns1/ns2 as nameservers with your registrar. We cannot do this for you as we don't have access to your domain with your registrar.
b) Create the associated ns1/ns2 A records in Plesk. Support can help with this part.
Both parts above must be done. Otherwise, you'll end up having problems.
Hope that helps!

Well spotted ikaruz and thanks...... seems the whole problem was down to user / keyboard incompatability issues during signup
my domain is
goldhostinggroup.net
not
goldhostingroup.net
