vps traffic

OK, I have a small question that I am slightly confused about.

In the traffic table in vzpp, it has incoming and outgoing. Can someone clarify what these mean? And with our transfer limitation, is this incoming and outgoing added together? I just want to make sure I know what's going on in there.

Incoming (or ingress) is traffic that is uploaded to your VPS from an external source. Outgoing (egress) is the data that your VPS is serving (i.e. webpages, etc.) Both amounts are added together and checked against your quota but it is my experience that Virtuozzo doesn't accurately record incoming bandwidth so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Every plan here comes with more bandwidth than 99.9% of webhosts need.
