cPanel EDGE is no longer downgrade compatible
IF you choose an EDGE upgrade option, and then upgrade, you will NOT be able to safely downgrade.

cPanel EDGE has posixacl functionality implemented - this is NOT compatible with any other release version of cPanel - Stable/Current/Release.
You are advised NOT to run EDGE on any production server.
