internet radio on my vps ?

One of my customers asked me if it's possible to install shoutcast to run an internet radio...

Since i never ever used it ... i'm a bit worried about the bw and ressource it will use...

Also, how much i should charge for this kind of service ?

oh, and is it possible to manage it from cpanel ?

It is possible, but watch your bandwidth use - you will be held responsible for overages.

I do not believe you can manage it from cpanel.

Yet. There is a shoutcast cpanel management system that will let you install/customize etc being worked on. No idea for the release date yet.

I will have to charge him 50$CAD for this... and he doesn't want to pay that much...

That's a lot of work for just a customer that would like to pay 20$CAD/month...

The only shoutcast addons/modules that I'm aware of right now are:
