jEdit on VPS?

Anyone installed jEdit on their VPS yet? Any issues?

Support says OK but I'm new to VPS and wanted to see if anyone else had experience..

Do you mean jEdit the editor? Why do you want to install a graphical application on a server? You should install it locally and use the ftp plugin to edit files on your VPS over sftp.

If I am misunderstanding your request, please clarify what it is you want to do with jedit.
