What kind of software were you installing and around what time was this?

I was installing DigiChat 4.0, then it automaticly kicked me off, so I had to reboot again, and It kicked me off again. I was using Windows' RDC, in Windows XP Professional.

Just before I had the post, not longer than 3 hours before that..

It seems that I can't install .msi packages...

I wanted to install some SQL manager app from MS site packed as .msi and:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=C039A798-C57A-419E-ACBC-2A332CB7F959&displaylang=en

It just says that this server is safe/locked and it cant execute such app.

I tried to install a component as well (basis of multi-tier web apps) but as it was .msi as well - i could not do it.

Could you ask SWSoft?

Does anyone know where I can manage the SQL server - I am lost - I cant find it - I need to change the default encoding...

Wael, this kikcing problem might be due to our currnet server problem. After I announce it is resolved, if you still have this problem, let me know.

Jovan, I have forward your questions to SWSoft. I don't know much about MSSQL, and the only management I am aware of is if you right click on the icon in the taskbar.

This has been resolved. I have a workaround applied to the server, but SWSoft will have a proper fix soon (we'll take care of it).

Wael, it's fixed. I installed http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=C039A798-C57A-419E-ACBC-2A332CB7F959&displaylang=en in a VPS successfully before posting my last reply.

I am having a similar problem. Whenever I use RDC and I'm just browsing around the folders and checking the system stats, I get kicked off and can't log back in. I have to restart the VPS in order to log back in, but it just kicks me off in a matter of seconds right after. :(

I think we have been hitting a concurrent user license limit or licences are not timing out properly. I will be able to confirm for sure tomorrow and increase the limit.

Yes this is exactly what I was facing, and I thought it was from my computer, but my co-admins and support attendants faced the same issue. :D

Sorry, it appears it was not using the new pool of licenses. Please try now.
