The remote desktop displays a black screen and then closes. When it appeared first time 3 days back I rebooted the VPS and fixed the problem.
The problem still persists.
Is there any solution for this?

As far as I know the only sollution is a reboot. I am unsure as to what causes the problem.
The cause, is closing the RDC window without logging off first. The license only allows for one RDC session at any given time, and closing the RDC window doesn't cause a clean log off - basically, a dead connection is left and windows thinks you're still logged in, therefore, you can't log in again.
You can in theory reboot your VPS from the VZPP, however, this has been known to cause hang issues where the VPS doesn't come back up -- at my point of writing this, I'm unsure whether SW-soft have patched this bug. Best bet, is to submit a support request to Veena so she can restart your VPS From the command line. =)
I think the correct solution would be to allow only rdp connections with the /console option. This would each virtual server to have only one connection because by default you can only have one /console connection and if you log another /console connection in then it would log the other out. But I have no idea about the mechanics of how Virtuozo sets the systems up. I use /console ont he cmdline of my remote desktop connections to actually connect to the console of my person windows 2003 servers. I don't know the reasons why /console is not possible on these systems.
I am not sure the /console option works, since it has virtualized the OS, I know you cannot run VNC as a service and have to leave it running as an app, and if you LOGOFF then it stops, but if you disconnect properly, it will stay running.
Most of the RDP problems we've seen are people just clicking the X and exiting RDP, which takes forever for the host node to clear/drop the connection, so you should logout properly.
Yes thats why I said I don't know how it all exactly works. I would have no know how Virtuozo managed everything. What happens though if when I have a Remote Desktop session open and for some reason my cable connection drops? Having to reboot the VPS seems like an improper way to do it and that maybe Virtuozo would create a way for you to actually manually close that offending RD session. Just my own little random thoughts....

We will be selling additional RDP sessions as an addon, so if this is something that happens to you frequently, or a critical issue, you can add another session.
Rebooting your VPS is safe - you should not longer see any hangs.

Ah I see. Rebooting your VPS maybe safe but there is that downtime associated with doing so. I never had problems with hangs my problem was if you were doing something and loose your ability to do Remote Desktop then you would have to disturb your customers by doing a reboot. But if it will eventually clear the other remote desktop or having a second session would possibly allow you to clear the primary session then I would imagine there would be no problem.
Cheers

My comment about the reboot was to clarify that if you need to reboot for any reason, it is safe.
The shortcomings of having a single RDP connection are painfully clear and understood :)

If you do one thing you will never face any difficulties.
Always logoff from the remote desktop connection each and every time.
The VPS reboot hangs. I had tried that from the power panel.

Please try this, and if it hangs open a support ticket. This should not happen.
