I am considering ordering a VPS from you, but I am first comparing you directly to some other companies I am looking at, one of them being A Small Orange. They offer plans that are bare bones, and then you can add features like Cpanel & VPS Management for additional monthly fees.

A Small Orange
Management and Monitoring - $40 per month
Management service and 24/7/365 monitoring from A Small Orange is all about having no worries. Don't worry about system administration. Don't worry about server security. Don't worry about your server going down. We do all this and more to ensure you can have your own server with no effort involved. Below is a list of the services included with our management package. Note: In order to offer this service at such a discounted price, cPanel and WHM is required for Management and Monitoring service.
Management Services:

* Initial Server Setup
* Initial Security Audit and Server Hardening
* 24/7/365 Technician Availability
* 24/7/365 Server Monitoring with Human Response

* Unlimited Technical Support
* 2 Monthly Administration Hours
* Full System Optimization
* System and Software Updates
* Monthly Server Security Audit
* DOS Attack Mitigation

My question is, what exactly does "24/7 support" from PowerVPS entail? Would it include at least (if not more) than A Small Orange does, above? Is that the level of support I would expect if I was in a shared hosting environment, like, is it true support for any issues on any of the domains I have hosted in my VPS? I'm fairly technically compentent, but not so much with server management, so I'd be pretty lost if there was an issue, and I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't get turned away in a support request since it was "too easy" or "not included" in support.

You're most welcome too for the pre-sales help, Lundy. All of us at PowerVPS are always happy to help in whatever way we can.

Anyone can build a server and offer space, etc. It's the support that you get behind it that makes the difference from what we have seen. We try to be the best around. :)
