Your system mail prefs are set in WHM. Up at the top, under Change System Mail Preferences(lol go figure), it allows you to specify which e mails you want what sent to.
host. is just your VPS's name. You don't need to set up any e mail accounts for it. You should be getting e mails everytime the VPS is rebooted, security checks are run, etc.
*I'm just a client like you so this ain't official*

Well thanks so much! I am a newb when it comes to VPS. I am currently in college learning how to do alot of stuff, but client to client help is always very good in my books.
I do have a question though, why does my SSH restart 11 times a day. this happened yesterday also?

I'm kinda new but thanks to the guys at support and people here, I'm learning. Don't be scared to ask, they are pretty nice folks.
Now that one you'll have to ask one of the guys that has been doing it longer than I have. I've been using Putty for any commands I need to run. It's faster and doesn't bog down like using it thru CPanel seems to.

yea i have been using putty for everything really. other then viewing status.
I am new to the whole SSH thing, but i used to fool around with MS-DOS, and it is just about the same thing, with a few twists.
I have 14 accounts on my server, and there is always someone using it :-\ i may need to upgrade, but i dont like powervps prices. They charge alot for extra bandwidth. $1 for each extra gig. That is how much i charge my customers... i would make no money this way. So i may need to figure out how to make money another way :-\

14 and you're worried about bandwidth? I'm currently hosting 60 and even with the air races site, am no where near exceeding bandwidth.

well, i have some accounts who host movies, and they get alot of people going their by direct linking them on big websites such as sims2.com and other websites. They love to use 25GB of bandwidth a month. And well, i have a plan for 2GB of space and 25GB of bandwidth for only 11.99 and i use to have a reseller account that has the same amount of space and bandwidth for half the price im paying now! So, i am in bad shape when it comes to that. I should only use about 100GB a month. but I would hate it so much if i went over. :(
