Review - PowerVPS/Defender Hosting

Sense there aren't any forums for me to post my review and I defiantly want it public for prospective users, then I'll post it here in the pre-sales questions. Can't think of a better place. ;)

I'd just like to say that the setup of my VPS went off without a hitch. The server was up and running within an hour and everything was upgraded, set and ready to go. I couldn't be happier.

Coupled with the bundled software, in the line of work I'm in, I can't be happier with the services, support and all around service of PowerVPS/Defender Hosting. I'm big on support and service, and I must say that the tech department knows there stuff and are on top of things quicker then a fly on dung. ;)

So on a scale of 1 out of 10. I'd rate PowerVPS/Defender Hosting at a 20. Yes a 20. I've been with Burst, EV1, and a few others, and PowerVPS out weights them all.

P.S.

Even though it's a VPS it's 10 times faster then any server I've been on thus far.

Well, its what you deserve people, it would be a good idea if you put some server offers, and if you offer servers for VPS hosting, please notify me becuase I have a new site only for servers, and it's under construction, so I will be happy to use your offers if you would like me to do so.

Agreed. Defender/PowerVPS has been great and looking at how they're expanding/improving, they will continue to be excellent for some time to come.

Question, I can't find any info to say if paying quarterly or annually will qualify us for discounts. If yes, how is the structure, and how can we change our billing period? See.... I wouldn't want to pay 6 months at a time if I didn't think they are any good. ;) :D

One suggestion, can the admin create one or 2 more forums e.g. General/Lounge where ppl can just introduce themselves and talk about general experiences, vps or not, and maybe, another General VPS Questions forum to handle topics that are not Linux or Windows specific.

Our discounting structure is around 5% at 6 months and 10% at 1 year... if you want exact numbers, start stepping through the order form and it'll give you them.

I can't say enough about the great service I have gotten. They have treated me like I was their only customer. My only regret is I wish I would have found them sooner. :cool:
