Is it me or do these win vps take forever to start/stop?

I attempted to stop and start the vps from vzpp and it stopped but its been about 20 minutes nowand I am still getting the message saying VPS is (starting) now.

Anyway on a plus side being primarily a windows user I definitely felt much more comfortable using the rds on the Win machine vs SSH on Linux.

//edit
A quick update
I went into actions log and I got this
Operation start with the VE(s) VEID1027 is started.
02/24/05 20:53:01 #307 Message processing was terminated because timeout was reached waiting for a response

Michael, they do take longer to stop/start than linux, but it should occur within a minute or two. Why were you rebooting? - was there anything significant going on before you rebooted?

I will contact SWSoft as this is the same problem we saw before (although I just stopped/started another VPS just fine.

I attempted to do the reboot cause rds had locked me out.
I waited for a while then tried the reboot.

at the moment I am also locked out of vzpp

I can get into Plesk.

Ok, this is interesting feedback. I thought you were locked out completely.

SWSoft says they may have a fix, and it will be available later tomorrow. So unless we have other major problems necessitating a reboot, you'll have to wait until then before getting access again. Sorry about this.

no problem, I am glad to help.
I would rather have an issue on the beta so we can work out any issues in the system before it happens to someone hosting something critical.

I am usually good at finding things that are off.
