Zend Optimizer really has nothing to do with Linux...it's just an "add-on" for PHP.

I don't know if it there's by default, but I'm sure they will glady install if you put in a ticket. It's actually really easy to install it-- you can find a guide on www.webhostgear.com.

As for the mysql, you should have no problem with that.
