Hi,

I am interested in opening an CPANEL POWER-1 account. I have two questions:

1. Where is the data center?

2. Is the space used to store the backup included in the quota of my account?

Hi,
I do not represent PowerVPS, I'm a customer using their services. The answers to your questions:
1. Equinix Data Center In Ashburn, VA
2. There are two ways of backing up on a VPS.
a. If you backup from Virtuozzo Power Panel, the backup wont be part of your quota of diskspace. Infact you can have multiple backups for that matter. These backups are more like a snapshot of your entire disk including your system files.
b. If you decide to run backup from the control panel as a Cron, then it would be included in the quota of your account.

VZPP backup is done automatically. iirc, it is a weekly full backup followed by increments every day for the next 6 days. So at any given point of time you can revert back to a day old backup.
