I discovered this evening that (currently) changing the timezone in a VPS changes it for all other VPS and the server itself. So if you wouldn't mind, please leave it on EST.
I'll let you know what SWSoft has to say about it :)

Hi,
It seems as though someone has been changing the Time on the VPS again. The time-zone was set to GMT-3 (Beunos Ares, Georgetown...). This has a significant impact on my stuff too ... so I reset it to Eastern Standard Time.
However, it appears that the time still does not want to go to the correct time. It is one hour ahead. Syncing to time-a.nist.gov is blocked somewhere too.
Can this be locked into place so that nobody can adjust the time and have this problem again?
thanks,
Thomas

This is out of our control, and I found out today this is not fixed in the next release either.
Basically we will all need to play nice, and that means DON'T SET THE TIME!

Hopefully all users are reading here. And hopefully PowerVPS will be given a big rebate on Virtuozzo Win. You must getting mad as a CTO with such bugs. When reading this post I remembered the situation staying in a first class hotel in italy and realizing that they were using the same keys on every 5th roomdoor. Eh, sorry for getting offtopic.

This was resolved several months ago in an update. Closing.
