As a longtime Plesk user, I've always been interested in the tools thay http://www.4psasoftware.nl/ produces. I've been told they have no problem running on Virtuozzo setups.
I'm beta testing PowerVPS Mailfoundry, and while an interesting method to decrease spam & virus, I've wondered if the combinations of:
Spam Guardian
http://www.4psasoftware.nl/Spam_Guardian.htm
and
Clean Server
http://www.4psasoftware.nl/Clean%20Server.htm
Might be a good alternative (though $$)
You might say, "But we already have Spam Assasin in Plesk?" If you read 4PSA's pages, you'll see that their solution seems to be much better than the built-in methods that Plesk takes.
They have other software, but the one that catches my eye the most is their Qmail manager:
http://www.4psasoftware.nl/Qmail_Manager.htm
I've found that I have had to ask support at PowerVPS to clear my Qmail queue on many occasions. I know there are a few open source tools to do that (anyone want to write a How-To?), but 4PSA Software Qmail Manager is interesting because of its integration into Plesk. I like that. (i.e., I'm no command-line junkie.)
So, I have two questions for the community. Is anyone using any of 4PSA's tools on their VPS, and if so, what do you think?
The second question is targetted at PowerVPS. You have ClientExec partnership for the benefit of your customers (and to entice prospective clients) Could you contact 4PSA and negotiate some discount for PowerVPS customers? I'd like to purchase a few of their programs but it can add up quickly $$$. Surely, PowerVPS can bang out some deal to make a win-win situation :D
Cheers,
