Basic Security
Hello,
I just got my new VPS and I'm a bit concerned about security. How secure is my VPS after installation ? The KB says something about 9 steps that PowerVPS can apply to my VPS, are these done on every installation or do I have to request it ?

Pretty sure you need to open a ticket with support.

Your VPS is very secure after installation. Please read the following thread
http://forums.deftechgroup.com/showthread.php?t=26
The first 6 steps are already done for you, and the last 3 are optional.

Thank's Charles.
It's good to know I can concentrate on learning VPS (and linux
) without wondering about security.
